Greg's blacksmithing class is amazing--we had so much fun. My friend and I were staying for a little getaway nearby through Airbnb and this activity popped up as a suggestion. The class is 4 hours long, and you get a lot of hands on (literally) experience for that time. As a starting project, Greg has you learn the basics by crafting a hook with some fancy curves in it to get used to forging a pointed end and bending the metal. Once you've gotten through the basics of this, you can move onto more intricate projects--I was able to make a BBQ tool with all these curves and twists in the metal (my favourite part). All the time Greg was there to jump in or give tips, plus it's really OK to mess up since you stick your metal back in the heat and bash out any errors on the next go. You can't really go wrong!”
